Lytchett Minster School Training School

Lytchett Minster School Training SchoolVisit website

With the school’s existing website for staff training news and information appearing tired and dated, I was asked to design a replacement site to deliver a more engaging and interactive environment for current and prospective staff to discover and discuss the training opportunities available to them. The site was expected to be easy for administrative staff to maintain, and flexible should functionality need to be changed at any time.

I designed and built a database-driven CodeIgniter PHP website that provided comprehensive content and user management controls for administrative staff, and a straightforward HMVC modular architecture for technical support staff to allow future modification or expansion of the site without difficulty. All of the site’s training information pages (articles) are fully editable from within the online administration area; where much of the rest of the site can be controlled and customised as well.
